Leibster Blog Award!
Well isn't this cute? It seems to be quite popular among small blogs too. I love it and I think it's a great way to send more blog traffic to your friends! :) I've been nominated by my friend Kaitlyn, who blogs A Gentle and Quiet Spirit. Thank you Katie! :)
So, first off, 10 facts about myself. Hmmm......that feels like a lot of facts! lol
1. I smile a lot
2. I play piano and guitar and sing (but not all at the same time)
3. I'm a hugger
4. I love gold spray paint
5. I talk too much
6. I'm blonde (in both hair color and mentally)
7. I eat ketchup and chick-fil-a sauce plain
8. I like to talk about spiritual things
9. I sleep talk and sleep walk like you wouldn't believe
10. I have trouble handling stress :P
Her questions to me are:
1.Who is your favorite author? Why?
Fav author....it would have to be either Eden Southworth or Gene Stratton Porter. Eden Southworth because her books are filled with excitement and adventure, a great use of descriptive language and pretty poems.

Eden Southworth |
Gene Stratton Porter also because of the descriptions, but also because her stories are based on a bit more of "real life" types of people.

Gene Stratton Porter |
2.If you had one day to live, what would you do? Probably spend time with people that I loved, but also spend more time praying, and evangelizing.
3. What is your favorite Bible verse? Why? I don't exactly have a favorite Bible verse. Yes, I read some and think "oooh, that was good" so I *might* (I don't frequently memorize scripture :/) memorize it, or write it down and maybe put it on the wall but I don't really have like a "favorite" so to speak.
4. What is your favorite book? "One Heartbeat Away" by Mark Cahill. I think it's a well written book, powerful for the unbeliever, but also equipping for the believer.
5. What is your favorite hobby? Sewing, though I like to email and sing a lot too.
6. Do you prefer the city or the country? Why? Both :) City for the excitement and bustle, the ability to get lost in a crowd-but country for the sweet sounds and smells and peaceful atmosphere.
7. What is your favorite desert? Pretty much anything, especially chocolate. My childhood favorite was Nutty Buddy's...also known as Nutter Butters I believe. I do not really like lemon meringue pie for the meringue...I always anticipate whipped cream but it's never that :(
8. What is your favorite thing to do? Isn't that kind of like a hobby? ;) One of my most favorite things to do is to go out barefoot into the woods. I love the woods. And being barefoot :D
9. How big is your family? 7 going on 8 kids and 2 parents. So 10 :)
10. Have you ever been out of the country? Nope. I never want to boat or fly out of it either.
