Atlanta || Georgia Aquarium

I'm trying to figure out how to best describe the Georgia Aquarium. It was almost like you were walking into an ocean, and if you looked through the (2ft. thick) glass, most of the time as far as you could see, was water. So I guess what I'm saying was it was a massive building filled with massive amounts of water, which held massive amounts of fish, and sea creatures. Massive probably describes the aquarium best. It was absolutely amazing though, I've never experienced anything like it before!!!
We also went to the Dolphin Tales, which was pretty cool. The dolphins did flips and twists and jumps and swam with people standing on their noses and "walked on their hind legs" how dogs do sometimes. It was cute :)

the lobby area

Did you know that piranhas are pretty??? This is one of those fierce fish, and it has glinting specks of golden glitter all over it!! I enjoyed watching these fish swim around.

A 3D show we saw.

fish and other sea things opened up to see the insides. Very unique.

an ENORMOUS manta-ray

Whale sharks. I may or may not have been filled with joy to see them in a tank. I also may or may not have been filled with fear they would get out of the tank.

Petticoat Outfit

You have no idea how awkward it is to take fashion/outfit photos in public. It's awkward. Especially if you look different to begin with, but then to pose and have someone take pictures of you, amidst a bunch of other random people....I prefer the driveway even if it's not very scenic. :P

Today I'm sharing an outfit that I wore to the Georgia Aquarium. Not uber fancy, but still a little dressed up feeling (the petticoat makes any outfit feel princess-y). Definitely leaning towards the poodle skirts and neck scarves of the '50's, a guy told me I looked like a "flash from the past". :P
me having a moment with a dolphin statue
I'm guessing this was a sports team dolphin...I honestly have no idea about what team it is though. But it was red and I thought it looked cool.

RUFFLES
as much as I would have loved to have more photos of the petticoat...taking pictures of it out in public was a little too awkward lol

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have some photos of the fishies, and some cake pictures. xoxo

Atlanta || Coca Cola Continued

Well I'm very sorry to have had to cut the last Atlanta post short. But at least there's a continuation :) And I'm planning on captioning these photos too, that way you aren't just left to make what you want of it lol.
I have a bad habit of taking too many pictures. But I can't help it, I'm either in it all the way or I'm not. And once I take the lens cover off I just can't seem to put it back on :P
coke bottles traveling across the ceiling, from the bottling room to the tasting room. These are the bottles they give you for free on your way out.

more ornaments outside

if you remember the ornaments from my outfit post, these are them from a distance :)

Do you remember that oooold coke fountain from the first Coca Cola post? The tour guide asked everyone which was the oldest item in the glass case, and everyone got it wrong but me! So I got a bracelet. Ah the perks of being a history freak :D

HAPPY

We spent a long time in the store. I bought a cute key chain and two magnets. :)
Grandpa tasting a soda that was gross. I thought all the ones from Africa were disgusting, and the one called Beverly from Italy was probably the worst. My favorite soda was probably....coke. lol.

The sky above Stone Mountain, as taken from the hotel parking lot. A beautiful way to end a fabulous day!
So that's all for the Coca Cola factory folks! I had an amazing time there, and hopefully you got to enjoy to it through the pictures! :)
